Origins
Robert Miles (Roberto Concina) wrote it after seeing photos of children caught in the war in former Yugoslavia.
Context
He also wanted a calm track to close club nights, at a time when many young people died in car crashes driving home after dancing. It became one of the biggest instrumental hits of the 1990s.
